After the Christmas break, April Pillsbury-Lloyd, the new principal of C.F. Richards Christian School, Staunton, Virginia, received a very nice letter from an uncle of two of our C.F. Richards students, Echezolachi and Chiamar. The uncle, whose name was Augustine, allowed us to share his encouraging words of kindness:
Calvary Greetings!
I write to commend your school C.F Richards for working so hard to train children who not only know how to respond to social challenges, but also, children who love God, strive to be Christ-like and witness for Him. This commendation is coming after spending the Christmas Holidays with my nephew – Echezolachi and my niece – Chiamara, who are your current pupils.
During my interactions with them, and as the holiday lasted, I observed their behavior to be very outstanding compared to their peers. Being an educator myself, with over 15 years of experience, I am yet to see children with profound love for God and a desire to be like Jesus most especially in prayers and learning about Jesus as I saw in Chiamara and Echezolachi. Their parents acknowledge that it was not just their training at home that gave rise to the behavior I saw, but also the outstanding job you and your team are doing at C.F. Richards – hence my personal reason to write this commendation.
I want you to know that your work is not in vain as your products are already manifesting the unique life of a strong desire and love for God. Please permit me to charge you to keep up the good work, for indeed, your labor is a significant contribution to society.
Please, I have attached some of the holiday pictures with Echezolachi and Chiamara.
May God strengthen you to do more,
Yours in Christ,
Augustine
