On the blustery evening of December 2nd, 2024 students, parents, and staff from C.F. Richards Christian School made their way through the streets of downtown Staunton, Virginia in the annual Staunton Christmas Parade! It was a time of great fun and excitement as some students handed out candy to onlookers and others waved enthusiastically with well-wishes in celebration of the holiday season. C.F. Richards Christian School’s parade entry featured a float with a brightly adorned Christmas tree, a banner displaying the school’s new logo, a sign promoting the Preschool Program which is now enrolling children ages 3 and up, and Mary holding baby Jesus, the reason for the season!
At C.F. Richards Christian School we exist to be a community of learners who love God and serve others. We have been serving in the Shenandoah Valley by educating students for over 60 years. Participating in the Staunton Christmas Parade provided a wonderful opportunity for us be visible in our community by representing our Christ-centered preschool through 8th grade school. It was lovely to join together in honor of the holidays. C.F. Richards Christian School will also be having their Christmas Program, “The Plane Truth About Christmas” on Saturday, December 14th at 4:00pm. All are welcome to join us at the school gymnasium for a seasonal celebration!
